Finally, after a long vacation, something to show.And the result of some experimentation, which I'm really happy about. It's been so long since I was looser and more like "Let's see what happens if I do this..." Taking classes has really honed some of my skills, but has also made me put a lot of pressure on myself, I think, and has put ideas in my head that I'm only now starting to shake free of. For example, I've decided that it's okay to not keep a sketchbook since I don't seem to like it very much; I can NOT keep a sketchbook, and still call myself an artist! Imagine that!
Anyway, this is one of two pieces I was able to complete this past week. Hopefully there will be more to come.
