Clay Cake
I finally put my Silver Belle knitting down long enough to finish this!
Next step: Latex 74.
Oh, and here is the accidental kitty that happened as a result of all this clay sculpting:
Speaking of Vogue Knitting, the preview for the fall issue is up! Thanks to girlkae for letting me know. :] There are a couple sweaters I might want to make, especially among the free downloads, but it's kind of hard to tell what they look like with all the posing. But I've started Silver Belle, so I'm going to finish this one first. god, 376 stitches--I have never had to cast on this many at once before. Here's my progress report:

haha. hello kitty!
Loving how silverbelle is going :) Oh and your clay work looks so much better than mine ;)
aw, thanks, but i saw how cute your buttons look (and what a great idea--i still haven't found buttons for my twinkle sweater)!
The Silver Belle looks beautiful. What yarn are you using? It almost looks as if it has a bit of mohair in it.
thanks, sarah-hope! i'm using this old Filatura di Crosa yarn i've had for a while, and you're right--it does have some mohair in it; it's the Sympathie yarn (35% mohair, 45% wool, 20% acrylic). i hope i have enough to finish this sweater, though. :|
What yarn are you using? I really like the soft look of it. Mys sister is making this sweater as well -- hers is in a different yarn (very pretty also, but a different look completely).
lv2knit: oh, i saw your sister's sweater! you're right--it has a totally different feel to it and i can't wait to see how both of them turn out.
